With Tom Clarke, Alabama 3, The Darkness, Example, Kate Nash and Punjabi MC amongst others already confirmed for Godiva festival between the 7th-9th of July, Godiva have announced yet more impressive talent. A few days ago Godiva confirmed their Rhythm Tent with the likes of Romzy, Kojo Funds, AJ Tracey, Not3s and even Karen Harding being announced. Godiva have today confirmed more of their line-up including rough running orders for each day.
On the Friday Pulled Apart by Horses will join Mallory Knox in The Rock tent. Further, local talent The Institutes will have the chance to open the festival on the Main Stage infront of a home-crowd. The Institutes will then be followed by Tom Williams, Cast and The Stranglers.
On the Saturday The Rhythm Tent will be home to an impressive rap and grime line-up which includes MOBO nominated AJ Tracey amongst Karen Harding, Skatta, Kojo Funds and more. The tent will then take a swing in genre with Alabama 3 amongst others performing. Tom Clarke will also perform an acoustic set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Enemy’s debut number one album “We’ll Live and Die In These Towns”, which promises to be very special.
With Saturday’s Main Stage already packed with talent in the form of Loz Pettite, Future Fires, What’s Left, Lucy Rose, The Amazons, Carl Barât & The Jackals, and Example & DJ Wire already announced, even more names have been announced. Joining the Main Stage on the Saturday will also be lvis Dies Tomorrow, Autopilot, Blackwaters and Voodoo Kings.
Lucy Spraggan, Kate Nash and The Darkness are amongst those that have already been announced for the final day of the festival on the Main Stage, and they will be joined by Electric Pyramid, Louise Distras and Joe O’Donnell’s Shkayla.
Commenting on the impressive announcements, Festival Director Lee House noted, “We’re really pleased to reveal more of our line up, but rest assured, there’s still lots to come! While we know people love the music at Godiva, there’s more to Godiva than just music, so watch this space for more news from the Family Field, the comedy line up, exciting cultural attractions and of course, Sunday’sRhythm Tent too!”
